Beacon Cloud profiles turn your coding-agent activity into a shareable developer identity. Your profile is private by default, and publishing it exposes only the aggregate information shown on the profile—not your prompts, session contents, commands, or tool calls. See Justin’s profile for an example.

Configure your profile

  1. Sign in to Beacon Cloud.
  2. Select Edit profile.
  3. Choose a public handle and configure the optional fields.
  4. Turn on Publish profile.
  5. Select Save profile.
Publishing requires a handle. Your public URL uses the format https://beacon.sh/profile/<handle>.

Profile settings

Your display name and profile picture come from your Beacon account. To update the picture, select it while editing your profile to open account settings.

What a public profile shows

A published profile can include:
  • Your display name, profile picture, handle, join date, and optional links
  • Aggregate token consumption and coding-agent activity
  • The supported agent harnesses Beacon has observed and their session counts
  • Aggregate session metrics when enough lifecycle data is available
  • Your activity calendar
  • Achievements you have earned
Metrics explain their calculation directly on the profile. Some metrics may display Not enough data until Beacon observes the required session lifecycle events.
Public profiles never expose raw prompts, responses, session transcripts, commands, tool-call arguments, or individual session records. Publishing changes only the visibility of the aggregate profile.

Share or unpublish your profile

When your profile is public, use Copy link from your profile page or copy its https://beacon.sh/profile/<handle> URL. To remove public access, select Edit profile, turn off Publish profile, and save. The public URL will stop returning your profile; your Beacon Cloud account and telemetry remain unchanged.
